{Places} Bushkill Falls, PA

This past weekend I set off to find something interesting to photograph and I visited a park. I picked Bushkill Falls in Pennsylvania. Hiking trails and waterfalls sounded like something that would be far from disappointing. I love long road trips filled with nature-lined road, blue skies and good music.

At the beginning of the hike I was greeted by this beauty.

There were so many man-made trails and steep stairs above, below and alongside the waterfalls. So neat!

I found evidence where people have left signs of love and romance. Or, you could just call it graffiti. ;-)

I wanted to play with my camera settings and chose this marvelous view to practice. I photographed this view about 30 photos until I was satisfied. I love what magic the shutter speed can create. Here's a side by side. One is with a 1/160 second exposure and the other with 1/20 second exposure.

When I go back I will walk barefoot in this little enchanting nook. It's something to look forward to do on the next trip. It was my favorite part of the hike.

The hike transitioned into a more natural area that was less man-made. There's something about climbing on rocks, sneaking into little corners, or crawling on logs that make the photography experience so gratifying!

Towards the end of the hike, I realized I was getting ahead of myself. So I slowed down, sat on a rock near the flowing streams and listened to the trickling sounds of the water. It was such an energy booster!

Every nature trip requires this kind of photo and I will end the post with it.
